The Clay County Library Board consists of 5 members. There are three branch libraries in the county. They are Rector Library, Piggott Library and Corning Library. This board meets quarterly.

Mrs. Virginia Reid retired after serving 10 years on the board.
Taking her place on the board in 2010 will be Rheba Scobey.
